There is nothing like a busy day to make me forget all of my resolve to meditate daily. I like to remember that meditation is not only for the perfect location and situation, but also for the short intervals of a day – like standing in a line, or driving in your car.
You can enjoy listening to mantras (I love Deva Premal‘s) during your commute if there’s no time for an actual seated meditation. You can also carry your mala beads and use with a simple mantra. Finally, deep, slow breathing without any distractions, even just for a minute or two, will provide your mind with what it needs to get through the day.
